FUSA Functional Safety Engineer

You will be responsible to perform assigned FuSa activities within the project, in accordance with the internal methodology (based on ISO26262 Functional Safety Standard).
You will be in charge of:
- Analyzing / defining functional safety requirements within the project based on Customer Requirements
- Carrying out design analysis to support the development of safety case arguments for safety related products
- Supporting integration of the safety activities in the development project
- Creating as necessary (planned) to hazard and risk analyses, safety plan, functional and technical safety concept
- Specifying safety requirements and safety concepts for system / component

Location is in the Detroit Metro Area.

Between 100 and 125kUSD (depending on experience)

Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree is a minimum /  Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

You must have 2 years of professional experience as a software developer in the field of image or signal processing, software architect or similar. 

You must come with experience in automotive environment (ISO 26262, SPICE, V-model, ....)

German skills would be a plus.
